Pumathon Is Back!
Lets run Pumathon all Spring long! Starting April 5th through June 11th we want you to keep track of your miles. Take a run around the neighborhood, or a stroll around your favorite park, or even count those miles on a family adventure to the greenbelt! Can you reach a 5K or better?
This season we're also getting the whole classroom involved! We want you and your class to run as many miles together as you can. The class in each grade with the most miles will win a wonderful prize! Remember to challenge your teacher to get those miles in.
Log your miles on our downloadable pdf below (or in your child's school folder) and turn in your entries on June 11th! Whether you are learning virtually at home or in person at school you can participate. Email your finished log to email@example.com or hand in your form to your teacher on the 11th . All entries with a 5K (3.1Miles) or better will receive an amazing Pumathon
Good Luck Pumas! We hope to see you on the field again soon!
Prizes Awarded at each level:
What is Pumathon?
During a normal school year, Pumathon is a fun lunchtime activity created to help our kids stay active throughout the school year. On Tuesdays & Thursdays in the Fall & Spring kids run laps on the Pioneer track working to get a marathon (26.2 miles!). They can even earn trinkets and stickers as they progress throughout the school year, and at the end of the year we have an assembly to celebrate their accomplishments with trophies for those completing at least a 5K.
We also have an online lap tracker so kids can show their parents how they are doing!
